Announcing New Book Title and Cover Reveal for The Lambsbridge Wolves and Give Away.

Lamb's Bane
By Chris Parker

In the tiny Welsh village of Lambs Bane, is it really the wolves you need to be afraid of...? Everyone knows werewolves don't exist. But if that's true, what is threatening Hazel's already-fractured family from the secrecy of the woods on the hilltop? The truth is even more chilling than her worst fears and is about to change her life... forever.

About the Author

Chris Parker is a Hampshire-based author writing contemporary fiction for young adults.
His books follow the adventures of realistic, recognizable characters in a world that is difficult enough without the particularly nasty situations they find themselves in.
Chris works as a teacher at several schools around Winchester, where many of his inspirations (and teenage editors/critics!) come from.
At home he likes to look after his family, dogs and health, though not necessarily in that order.
Hobbies include triathlon, travel and setting himself impossible challenges.

I reviewed the original book in November, 2012.

Synopsis of Spirit of Wolves

This book offers a tantalizing glimpse into the private life of the wolf, a symbol of the spirit of wildness that is now in such short supply in our modern world. More than 200 stunning and inspirational photographs of wolves, coupled with detailed observations of their behaviour, dispel many of the myths that surround these powerful animals and form an impression of the true nature of the wolf. Written and illustrated by two wolf experts who have spent hours tracking and watching wolves, Wolves portrays the complexities and wonders of wolf society and inspires a deep respect for an animal hat has long held a fascination with humans.
